How do you like the set up of the newsletter? It's fun isn't it? We couldn't help but play with the new software a bit. :-)
May has been busy in the garden and on the river. The path and the picnic area near the teahut were mown. Now you can walk the whole 3 km beat without much trouble. And it's worth it - the bluebells are full and fill the woods with fragrance and the rhododendron are now bursting out.
This weekend is a bank holiday weekend so please come and enjoy the bluebells carpeting the woods. Bring a picnic for lunch near the river or just come for a stroll through the woods and along the Slaney. We'll set-off at 3pm and be back by 4:30. This weekend Pam is also running a yoga workshop focussed on helping people establish a home practice. Establishing a home practice helps you get the most out of yoga, setting you up for a lifetime of physical and mental well being. This workshop helps you understand how to sequence a practice, overcome obstacles, and formulate 
very short practices so that you stay motivated.

There'll be another weekend yoga workshop on 20 June. That will focus on standing poses to cultivate poise, posture, strength, balance and flexibility. The Sun Salutations will be taught as part of the standing practice, along with an appropriate closing to absorb the work done.

Since listing the cottages in AirBnB, they have become very popular, even among locals looking for a get away. Paddy's Cottage and The Shed at Ballin Temple are available for short and long term lets. They are cottages are close to the Slaney and Ballin Temple woods and the loudest thing you hear is teh dawn choris! They are perfect for a "slow holiday" or personal retreat. The garden is coming under control but the race is on as everything is growing so fast now. And we'll be starting to cut hay in a few weeks so if you want the best hay around, put in your order now! There's a short article about our foray in to hay making here, and soon we'll enhance it with some more links and technical info on hay making.
