January still harvesting carrots and potatoes. Potatoes difficult to
harvest and virtually finished. February similar; replanted garlic that
sprouted from 2001. No new garlic brought in. March started tilling top
rows of each plot. April re-tilled and continued preparation and started
planting season.

Week 16/4 - 22/4: Plant tomatoes etc in rows 4 and 5. Start other
end. Some varieties finished - Long Red Marconi, Cayenne, Strawberry
Spinach, Basil Lemon; Moneymaker, Beefsteak, Marmande Super, Tigerella,
Gardener's Delight, Yellow Pear.
Week 23/4: Prepare and plant lettuce in drills.
Week 30/4: Last sowing of tomatoes. Maintain.

Week 14/5: Mow unplanted area.
Week 21/5: Till unplanted area.
Week 27/5: Weed tomatoes. None seem to have germinated. Use flail
mower for strips because no emergence evident. Hand weeding of garlic.
Rerotovate first lettuce row - Raddish, smile and floreal OK, rest
failed. Replant from drills also - raddish, smile, floreal and Paris
